Sayyiduna Umar ibn Khattab
Radhiyallahu Anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alayhi wa
Sallam said, “Whoever performs Wudhu in the best
manner and then says,
Ash hadu al laa ilaaha illallahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu
wa ash hadu anna Muhammadan Abduhu wa rasuluh, allahumaj alni minat tawwabeena
wajalni minal mutatahireen
I bear witness that there is no god
but Allah alone without any partners, and I bear witness that Muhammad is his
servant and his messenger. O Allah, make me from among those who repent and
from among those who purify themselves
then the eight
gates of Paradise will be opened for him and he may enter through whichever
gate he wishes.” (Tirmidhi)
